FED-up residents are being forced on to a busy Kirkintilloch road every time it rains, it has been claimed.
The pavement beside the pedestrian crossing in Townhead, Kirkintilloch, overflows with water every time there is a deluge.
One woman said: “Last week the water was really high, making it impossible to walk along without getting soaked.
“You have to cross the road and go up to the next pedestrian crossing to avoid the flooding.”
East Dunbartonshire Council was unable to provide a comment before the Herald went to press.
