Disruption for drivers in Kirkintilloch as work starts on housing development
Drivers can expect disruption as work starts at the end of the month in connection with the housing development at the old Rob Roy Park in Kirkintilloch.
A contractor is carrying out drainage work and works associated with the formation of a new access on Glasgow Road at Hayston Road in Kirkintilloch from Monday, May 31 until Sunday, July 4.
During the works, which are associated with the new housing development at the old Rob Roy football park – Hayston Road will be closed between Kilsyth Road and Bankview Crescent. East Dunbartonshire Council said diversions will be signposted for motorists.
There will be temporary two-way traffic lights on Glasgow Road at Hayston Road from Monday, June 14.
