IBROX ace Gregg Wylde was happy to show off his CIS League Cup winners medal with proud parents Evelyn and Gordon recently.
The former Kirkintilloch High School pupil secured the first medal of his professional footballing career after Rangers beat Celtic 2-1 at Hampden.
Gregg says the win is the proudest moment of his career and his thrilled parents were there to cheer him on.
Gregg said: “I am so pleased to get my first ever medal. Both my mum and dad at teh game and were a wee bit upset at the end. He’s pushed me all the way and hopefully there’s more medals to come.” Gordon, a former professional footballer, said: “I’m really ecstatic for him.
“The reaction from the fans at the end of the game - and then the thousands back at Ibrox when the team returned - was some experience for him.”
