Flower show blooms again!
Kirkintilloch Horticultural Society's annual flower show took place on Saturday (September 3) bringing the usual cascade of colour to St Mary's Church Hall.
Green-fingered residents of all ages displayed a range of blooms, crafts and produce, with knowledgeable judges on hand to pick the best of the bunch in a range of categories.
Medals and trophies were presented at the prizegiving for everything from chrysanthemums to roses, from perfect pot plants to entire stunning gardens.
There was also a tea room and things were rounded off with a sale of cut flowers.
