Women with breast cancer will be offered support to help them move forward after the end of treatment at a four-week course run by Breast Cancer Care.
The long-term impact of breast cancer can be overwhelming and, with more than eight out of ten people (86%) surviving breast cancer beyond five years, the need for continued support is increasing.
At Breast Cancer Care’s free Moving Forward courses people can have their questions answered in a relaxed setting and meet others who are in a similar situation to themselves.
The next free session starts on Thursday, May 7, at the New Stobhill Hospital from 10am–1pm each week.
