East Dunbartonshire’s Cycle Co-operative is preparing for a trip of a lifetime to the European Parliament.
The co-op received an invitation to the parliament from MEP Struan Stevenson after it held a seminar about its successes and future plans last month.
A delegation of six people are now expected to go to Brussels to share their experiences and discuss their successes with other MEPs later this year.
The co-op has already increased the number of children cycling to primary schools across Bishopbriggs to almost eight per cent, three times the Scottish average.
