Environmental community projects in East Dunbartonshire are invited to apply for a share of a new £2 million fund.
Charities and groups with a green focus are being offered the chance to obtain financial support ranging from £500 to £20,000.
The initiative was launched last week across the UK by Postcode Local Trust, a grant-giving charity which is funded by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
It opens for applications from community-based, grassroots projects from this week.
Environment minister Aileen McLeod said: “Being able to access high-quality green space can improve the health, wellbeing and confidence of people and communities.
