FESTIVE revellers are gearing up for the annual torchlight procession, beacon service and family ceilidh in Bishopbriggs on Hogmanay.
The free event, organised by Bishopbriggs Community Council, kicks-off at 6.45pm on Saturday, December 31, outside Poppies in the town centre.
The torchlight procession will make its way via the underpass to the beacon lighting ceremony in front of the library.
A short family ceilidh will follow. There will be light refreshments in Cadder Church Hall.
Free glow sticks will be available for children, or you can take your own lantern. In the event of bad weather the beacon service will be held in Cadder South Hall.
