Where you go to access Registration Services in Kirkintilloch is set to change.
Previously, to register births, stillbirths, deaths, civil partnerships and marriages, customers attended Kirkintilloch Registration Office, on Southbank Road. However, from Monday, November 10, they will be able to access the service by calling into Kirkintilloch Community Hub.
It is all part of the Council’s Click Call Come-in Strategy which aims to increase access to services and information and improve customers’ experience.
The transformation of the Registration Services, which also deals with changes of name, marriages abroad, re-registration of births and declarations of paternity, means the council will be enabling customer service agents to deliver the service through the community hubs.
More of the council’s frontline services will be delivered through the community hubs in the coming months as part of the council’s on going transformation programme, which is aims to increase efficiency and effectiveness across local services.
