Lennoxtown man in charge of search for next Stephen Hawking

Dr Stephen Breslin, who lives in Lennoxtown, is the five-star attraction’s new chief executive officer.
Stephen (44) says he is dedicated to driving the centre forward to become a key player in inspiring the scientists and engineers of tomorrow.

Hide AdHe said: “Igniting an interest in and helping young people discover the pleasure and relevance of maths, science, engineering and technology will be key to helping them develop the skills they need to create fulfilling and prosperous futures for themselves.”

Stephen (44) is married with two daughters. He graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 1989 with a B Eng (Hons) in mechanical engineering.
In 1990, Stephen graduated with a MSc in control systems and IT from the University of Sheffield and achieved a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Strathclyde in 1997.
