A police hunt is underway after a woman was sexually assaulted in the grounds of Stobhill Hospital.
Officers said the 33-year-old woman was attacked by a man around 8pm on Wednesday, December 3.
The incident at the Springburn hospital is being treated as an assault with intent to rape.
The man police are hunting is described as white, in his late 30s, wearing a black waterproof jacket and dark-coloured jeans.
Detective Police Inspector Frank Clarke said today: “Police are following a positive line of enquiry in relation to this incident but we are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
“The grounds of the hospital would have been busy on Wednesday evening with visitors and staff entering and leaving.
“I would ask anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has information that may assist the police investigation to contact us as a matter of urgency.”
Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101.
