ANGRY residents will be relieved to know that scaffolding is finally being taken down – more than four weeks after it was erected at a block of flats.
Locals in Lennox Crescent, Bishopbriggs, say they hadn’t been told work was being carried out on the building.
They were concerned at the length of time the scaffolding had been left in place.
Grace Irvine, East Dunbartonshire Council’s head of assets and property services, said work to clear the gutters on the building was completed on Monday, March 26.
She added: “We have contacted the contractors to inform them work is now complete and to take the scaffolding down.”
