Neighbourly gifts from new charity group
Eastwood Dementia Centre has two brand new wheelchairs, thanks to the efforts of East Renfrewshire Good Causes and the new
Maxwell Mearns Castle Christian Fund (MMCCF).
The new charity is set up as a similar model to East Ren Good Causes, facilitating good deeds for those in need as highlighted by frontline workers like teachers, doctors, nurses and social workers.
Margo McNicol, a GP and trustee of MMCCF, said: “In following our Christian beliefs, it is such a privilege for our fund to be able to help support both carers and the cared for at our local dementia centre, which does such a great job for those who are affected by by this debilitating condition.”
