The new-look store now has a brand new layout.
It reopened last week with a range of improvements for customers, including a new meat and fish counter, and a pizza and bakery counter.
There is also a new combined kiosk and customer service desk, new floral fixtures and produce cases.
Store manager at Sainsbury’s in Kirkintilloch, Carol Gardner said: “The investment in the store is fantastic and will be great for the local community of Kirkintilloch and the surrounding area.
“This refurbishment gives Kirkintilloch the very latest Sainsbury’s look and most up-to-date facilities.
“I’m delighted with the way it looks and its already proving a hit with local shoppers, with many telling us how much they love the new store.
“The team, including the 21 new colleagues who have just joined us, have worked really hard to get the store re-opened in time.
“We all look forward to welcoming new and old customers alike.”
