Hide AdAnd, keeping up in the techno age, visitors can take up their journey of architectural discovery by downloading a free audio tour.
“Glasgow’s Landmarks” can be downloaded from glasgowdoorsopenday.com/glasgowlandmarks to find eight historic and very different buildings, from Glasgow School of Art to Clydeport, and from St Andrew’s in the Square to the Necropolis.
Instead of carrying brochures around on the day, a smartphone app can download the brochure to mobile phones and tablets by scanning the clever little QR code from the brochure.
Hook up with some neat navigation software such as Google maps and off you go.
