The talented team at Kirkintilloch Players recently finished a very successful sellout run of the play ‘Parking Lot in Pittsburgh’.

Demand for tickets was so high that a waiting list was in operation all week.

The opening night was in memory of Bill Todd who died last year. Bill was a very active member of the Kirkintilloch Players for more than twenty five years.

The proceeds and the donations made during the week totalled £967 and this sum has been donated to Cancer Research in his memory.

Rehearsals start this week for the next show, which will be the traditional pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk to be staged in Lenzie Academy in January.

Bookings for groups of ten or more at discounted rates are being taken now. You can also register to be advised when tickets go on public sale. Email kirkyplayers@hotmail.com for further details.
