East Dunbartonshire’s Positive Achievements group is in the running for an RSPB Scotland Nature of Scotland award.
The group assists vulnerable 15-18 year olds.
It is among six initiatives in the running for the Youth and Education prize.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Edinburgh on October 30.
Project development worker Thomas James said: “Positive Achievements works to renovate and develop some land encouraging young people to be productive, learn new skills and contribute to their local community.”
