A motorist has been left with a whopping £750 repair bill after her car hit a huge pothole.
Renault owner Ann-Victoria Martin says her car ended up with two burst tyres and two wrecked alloy wheels.
The ordeal happened on Balmore Road, Torrance, going towards the Allander Toll roundabout.
The Lennoxtown resident is now calling for compensation from East Dunbartonshire Council.
She said: “It was a massive pothole. At first I thought I had got away with it, but the tyre was as flat as a pancake.”
The car was a birthday present from her dad.
Ann-Victoria said: “My dad is disabled, in his 70s and lives in Stirling. Without a car I’d never be able to get to him if there was a problem.”
The Herald has received numerous calls about potholes in various locations.
