PHOTOS, films, memorabilia and talks will all form part of Gartcosh Local History Group’s Open Exhibition on March 31 and April 1.
The organisation’s second open exhibition will take place in Gartcosh church hall.
It will be opened on Saturday, March 31, at 1pm by Sir Charles Gray and will run until 4pm.
On Sunday, April 1, it will be open from 11.30am to 3pm.
The focus of the exhibition will be a continued celebration of the rich history of the village by way of photographs, films, pieces of memorabrilia and talks.
The programme includes local historian Don Martin talking about the Garnkirk and Glasgow Railway.
Croy History Society will also speak about ‘Growing Up in Heathfield Square’.
A spokesperson said: “With the kind and generous assistance of North Lanarkshire Council, admission will be free.
“We do hope you will be able to come along and perhaps even consider joining our group for a very modest annual subscription.”
