Stobhill slash incident probed

POLICE have arrested a 40-year-old man who allegedly slashed another man in the face with a knife in the casualty unit at Stobhill Hospital.

A disturbance broke out between the accused and a 25-year-old on Saturday at around 4.25am.

The 40-year-old man was due to appear in court this week.

Meanwhile, a group of teenage boys have been charged with breaking into a secondary school with intent to steal. The five boys – aged between 15 and 17 – are alleged to have targeted All Saints Secondary, in Barmulloch, on Saturday at around 12.15am. They were due to appear in court this week.
