Thieves target school

A PRIMARY school has been left counting the costs after raiders caused extensive damage to two of its classrooms.

Thieves damaged a central heating pipe in the loft space of Lenzie Moss Primary as they removed lead flashing from the school’s roof last weekend.

The incident, which happened between 11.40am on Sunday, July 24 and Monday, July 25, caused the pipe to burst and damage the two rooms.

A cost of the damage has yet to be unveiled,
