Major Glasgow rail line blocked after train develops fault

A major Glasgow rail line has been blocked, after a train developed a fault.

ScotRail said the line between Glasgow and Port Glasgow is blocked.

Another train has been sent to the site to assist.

A social media post said: “Specialist engineers are now on board the faulty train and are working hard to get the train on the move again.”

UPDATE: Trains are now operating.
