FAMILY and friends gathered last week to say goodbye to a young woman who was tragically killed along with her friend.
The funeral of Mhairi Convy (18), from Lennoxtown, was held last Thursday at Old Dalnotter Crematorium in Clydebank.
Mhairi and Laura Stewart (20), from Cumbernauld, were walking on North Hanover Street, near its junction with Killermont Street, in Glasgow city centre, when a Range Rover left the road, mounted the kerb and struck the friends.
A 36-year-old man was also hit by the car during the incident on Friday, December 17, at around 11am.
He was treated in hospital before being released. The 50-year-old man driving the Range Rover was also treated in hospital.
Mhairi and Laura were both students at the City of Glasgow College.
Laura's funeral was also held last week. Police said enquiries are continuing into the cause of the crash.
