A809 Stockiemuir Road to close for seven days

The A809 Stockiemuir Road is to close for seven days near Milngavie for improvements works.

It will shut from Monday, October 21, for approximately one week, said Scottish Water.

The closure will take place from the junction of Tambowie to the junction of Craigton Road.

This will enable pipe installation works as part of our ongoing Burncrooks improvement project in the area.

Road traffic management has been agreed in liaison with East Dunbartonshire Council. Road users are urged to follow all diversion signage that will be in place.

Scottish Water said the work is being carried out during the school October break to help minimise any disruption.
