Warm welcome for craft group after trip to Birmingham

A crafty local group made the trip down to the Christmas Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham recently.

After getting a tremendous reception at a craft event at Glasgow’s SECC in October Creative Care, based in Bishopbriggs’ Brackenbrae House, were invited down south to demonstrate their unique 3d decoupage feathering technique - which helps create three dimensional pictures using just paper.

A spokesperson said: “All day in Birmingham the cry was: ‘It’s just amazing’. Around 40,000 people visited the show and many promised to stopover at Bishopbriggs on their way north.”
