David McWilliams is hoping to become the next rising star to emerge from the Queen’s Park set up after joining the Hampden club.
The defender made a name for himself at Campsie Black Watch last season and has now taken the step up to the seniors.
Queen’s Park has proven to be a successful forum for young talent to develop, with some of Scotland’s most talented youngsters cutting their teeth on the Hampden turf.
David said: “Taking the step was always going to be a challenge but I’m confident I can establish myself in the team this year.
“Queen’s Park has become well-known for producing talented young players, so I just have to work hard and hope I can reach that level.
“I will have a lot of work ahead of me, but this will be the ideal place to learn.”
