For the second year running Harestanes have to make the trip to Aberdeen for a Scottish Cup third round replay.
Trophy holders Harestanes had more of the chances and pressure but failed to turn this into a victory against tough opponents in what was a hard fought encounter.
From the start the two teams charged into each other and the referee was content to let the game develop in this fashion.
The first chance fell to Woodside with a shot which McStorie dealt with easily.
Craig Young then had a go for Harestanes with a good low shot. The ’keeper spilled but their was no-one to take advantage.
Harper sent a curler heading for the top right but a defender just managed to head off the line. From the corner, Young could only head into the arms of the keeper.
A shot from Cawley was then spilled by the keeper, Young had a shot cleared on the line andf Harper got onto the loose ball but his attempt was also cleared.
Young came close at the start of the second half but shot narrowly side.
A chance fell to Fitzsimmons on a tight angle, but his shot was deflected out off the top of the post.
Woodside took the lead from a long ball up the park, their man beat the keeper to the ball and lobbed over to nestle in the net.
But Harestanes struck back immediately to level.
Callum Young crossed the ball over the keeper to Craig Young at the back post and he headed into the net to earn the holders a replay.
