Kirkintilloch Rob Roy away to Benburb in West of Scotland League opener

Kirkintilloch Rob Roy will face Benburb away in their opening league fixture next month.

The West of Scotland Football League has published fixtures from the kick-off on Saturday, July 17, to Saturday, October 30 - the halfway point of the planned 38-game Premiership.

Rabs kick off against Benburb before facing Ayrshire giants Auchinleck Talbot at home the following Wednesday, July 21.

Stewart Maxwell’s side then host Clydebank on Saturday, July 24, travel to Troon on July 28 and are at home to Kilbirnie Ladeside on July 31.

Rossvale start with a trip to Guy’s Meadow to face Cumbernauld United, followed by a home match with Cumnock – their first following their return to Petershill – and an away game at Largs Thistle before fixtures against Irvine Meadow at home and Darvel away.

The first derby clash of the season between Rob Roy and Rossvale is scheduled for Saturday, August 28, with Rabs at home.

In the Conference Ashfield’s first Conference B match is at home to Glasgow United, followed by fixtures against Cambuslang Rangers (away), Greenock Juniors (home) and Dalry Thistle and Kello Rovers (both away).

In Conference C Petershill kick off at home to Drumchapel United while Glasgow Perthshire are away to East Kilbride Thistle.

Petershill’s next fixtures are Kilsyth Rangers (away) and Larkhall Thistle (home) while Shire are up against Lanark United (home), St Anthony’s (away).

Shire then host Peasies in a derby clash at Keppoch Park on Wednesday, July 28.
