Campsie Minerva make an early effort to make the new year a memorable one tonight (Wednesday) by lifting a trophy.

Minerva take on Foster’s Central Scottish AFL Premier Division rivals Colville Park in the final of the Bunrigh League Cup at Lesser Hampden.

Colville Park have been kings of the Scottish amateur game for the last two seasons, having won the Scottish Amateur Cup in 2016 and 2017.

But the Motherwell side are out of this season’s competition and have already lost 2-1 at home to Minerva in the league this season. Kick-off is 7.30pm.

The 200 club winners this month were Johnny Leslie, John Mulgrew and Mickey Boyle.
