KIRKINTILLOCH Rob Roy face Shotts Bon Accord in the quarter final of the Central League Cup on Wednesday night at Adamslie Park.

Victory would give supporters a cup semi-final to look forward to.

The team have had the best possible preparation with two recent friendly victories – running out 6-0 winners over Blantyre Vics at the weekend and beating Forth Wanderers 3-2 last Wednesday.

Gaffer Jimmy Lindsay told the Herald: “The friendlies have kept the boys ticking over nicely and we are all really looking forward to the cup tie. It would be terrific to make it to the semi.”
