The visitors took the lead after 15 minutes when a ball was fired into a crowded penalty area and rebounded off Vale's Lee Roulston past keeper Jamie Smith.

Rossvale levelled in the 33rd minute when, after a great play from Mikey McWilliams and Reagan O'Sullivan, the ball was fired home from close range by James Findlay.

In the second half Rossvale dominated most of the play and only in spurts did Meadow break up play to attack themselves.

But they squandered chances and were then reduced to 10 men when Ross Alexander was shown an 88th minute red card.

And in the third minute of stoppage time, and with virtually the last attack of the game, Meadow grabbed the winner as a half clearance from landed at the feet of Brendan Sharpe who scrambled it home.
