Liam King represents Scotland in European event
CARLUKE teenager Liam King is on his way to Sweden next month to represent Scotland during the European Taekwon-do Championships – with revision books in hand.
The 16-year-old S5 Carluke High pupil is combining training with the Skotia TKD Club in Carluke and the national squad in Aberdeen with studying for five Highers – the first of which is just nine days after the final day of the championships in Skovde.
Liam, who will be representing his country in the Patterns section, said: “This will be my first major championship but I’m still quietly confident about bringing back a medal.”
