Mauled Biggar is bottom of rugby league
Dundee recorded their first away win of the league season against a Biggar side who had approached the game buoyed by their victory over Hillhead Jordanhill the previous weekend.
Despite the disappointment of losing, Biggar can still take great credit from the way they played as they restricted their visitors to a four-point half-time lead and lost the game primarily because they were out-muscled by a larger and much heavier XV which employed a somewhat limited but yet very effective pick and go strategy.
