Three cycling stars of the future are really forging ahead at Bishopbriggs Academy - Innes Johnston (S3), Kiera Johnston (S5) and Alexander MacRae (S3).

Alexander and Innes recently competed at the National Cycling Championships at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow.

The boys did fantastically well, winning silver and bronze respectively in the individual time trial, and they were also part of the squad which won gold in the team time trial event.

Kiera, Innes’ older sister, won the National Hill Climb Cycling Championship in Stirling and took bronze in the National Pursuit Championship, also at the Velodrome. All three compete for the Glasgow Riderz Club.
