Scots music producer John McLaughlin is delighted to announce he will be managing the super cool new country duo, BOSIE. The band is made up of long-term friends Taylor Logan from Barrhead, East Renfrewshire and Richard Graham who hails from Balfron, Stirlingshire.
They are looking forward to their future being in safe hands under the guidance of the Scottish hitmaker.
Taylor told The Extra: “We’ve have had an amazing experience on this season of The Voice and we are now delighted to announce that we will be under the management of John McLaughlin, and will be working with some of the best and most experienced people in the music industry.
“To have the chance to write and record our own music and share it with the world is every artist’s dream. We are in no doubt that working and developing our ideas with our mentors, John McLaughlin, Jud Mahoney and the Boombox team will prove to be a fortuitous match.
“Knowing that we are in experienced hands, gives us the encouragement we need to launch our distinctive brand of music onto the music scene.”
The music supremo is excited about the band’s future and was impressed by their performance on ITV’s The Voice.
He said: “I was blown away by Tayler and Rich’s spellbinding live performances at recent gigs and how they’ve handled the pressure of performing live on national TV and this proves that they are set for superstardom on the new country music scene. There’s a real buzz about them right now.”
BOSIE will record their debut album at The Boombox Studio, and will be produced by McLaughlin who has penned songs for Busted and Westlife. Co producing will be Jud Mahoney who has worked with the likes of Michael Jackson and Boyz 2 Men.
They have also bagged themselves a support slot at one of Scotland’s most popular music festivals, McEwan’s Party At The Palace and promoter John Richardson is delighted to have them play at the event in Linlithgow.
Commenting, he said: “We’re committed to supporting new talent and I like to keep my ear to the ground for up and coming bands that would fit the bill for our second stage. Bosie will be a worthy addition to the support line up”
Catch BOSIE live at McEwan’s Party At The Palace where they will perform on the second stage on Saturday, August 12.
